SELF EMPLOYED OR BUSINESS OWNER?
There are two types of #entrepreneurs, one is self-employed and the other one is the #business owner.
Now you might be wondering what is the difference between these two and which one is better.
Self-employed people always focus on working in the business instead of working on the business, they spend a major portion of their time while working on client assignments. They hesitate to #delegate tasks to their team members and end up doing everything.
CHANGES TO JOBKEEPER // 28 SEPTEMBER 2020
On 21 July 2020, the Federal Government announced that the JobKeeper payments would be extended until 28 March 2021, but also flagged that there would be new changes to how it operates.
From 28 September 2020 onwards several new changes will come into effect, including a sizeable reduction in payments for eligible employees, and a renewed turnover test to assess eligibility for employers. If you are receiving JobKeeper, or believe you may be eligible under the new eligibility test, we recommend reviewing both the Treasury fact sheet and the ATO’s website (links in the comments) for more information.
